Good question, another question is why it’s made out of stone? Doesn’t seem like it’d be very comfortable, we know that they have access to various fabrics, including silk, so why not use that? Or at the very least put a cushion on it so that it’s more comfortable for the leader of your tribe to sit in the chair that she sits in when receiving guests and foreign dignitaries
