April 10th: The bill has been vetoed!
April 2nd: The politicians in Arizona are about to sign into law a bill that would mandate sites like e621 to either impose age verification on all users or be at a risk of lawsuits. Such system would be required to go through third party vendors, who in turn must go through a government database to verify every user's age. This is not only a major violation of privacy, but it also opens up a very real danger of identity theft through phishing schemes and other methods, not to mention that we would not be able to control any of that information to make sure it is permanently deleted after age verification is complete.
Unfortunately, Arizona is the state out of which e621 operates, which means that this law will almost certainly affect us if it is to pass. If want to help us ensure that this site can continue to serve you without being required to know who you are, please ask the Arizona governor to veto this bill.
Please, help us get the word out by letting others know about this issue.

MemberSimple, it's not her because the whole point of the illusion is to make you think it's whatever you wish for the most, and with Keith already knowing it was an illusion, it acted like it was the real Laura. Since otherwise, the alternative means that despite all the times this illusion spell must have been used in the history of the TwoKinds world, this somehow never happened to anyone else before in history and randomly out of nowhere Laura's dead soul possessed the illusion without even meaning to by "the power of love"..... I can't possibly think of anything more horribly cliched than that. Oh, there is also the fact that a HUGE part of the TwoKinds story and setting has been about the fact that people die, sometimes unfairly, and that you just have to accept it, anyone who has tried to change it so far has only hurt themselves.
By the way, two things I want to ask:
1. Why are you uploading random pages of the comic?
2. Don't you think you may be a little bit TOO obsessed with this comic?

MemberWow, that's quite a task, especially with the daily limits and having to tag all 800+ pages. If others want you to then go ahead I guess. Personally, I don't really see the point of posting a webcomic that is available in full on the creator's website here though, especially since it will flood away the posts of art based on the comic here.

And second. I was not aware of those exact rules. So I apologize. But in reality, No, I probably wasn't going to post the whole thing. Or any portion of the comic. MemberYou would be wasting you time if you did cause there is a rule about posting up comics long term comics like this , the allow you to post one or two pages but not the whole thing they will just take it down so for those who wanna read it go to the site

MemberI think of it this way. Why does it drain energy from the target and not the caster? Why is it what the target knows and not the caster? Why did Laura change her mind and stay until Keith was cornered> Because even though she isn't the real thing, she does have a soul. KEITH'S soul. Laura sacrificed her life for Keith, so why did the illusion stay? Because Keith would rather die than face the finality of her death. Why did she ask to be released after not remembering? Because Keith could no longer deny that Laura is dead. Why was she crying? Because Keith had just accepted that nothing can bring her back and it's the closest he can physically get to begging for someone to help him. Why did she say she could let go? Because Keith could. Basically, it's not an illusion spell. It's a spell that makes you two people.
