MemberI would think Kangaskhan a better fit for Empress, since the Empress represents a motherly figure; a queen bee likely doesn't care about the larvae hatched from every egg she's laid, whereas Kangaskhan is canonically extremely protective and nurturing of its young.

MemberExactly what I was thinking.

MemberThe Empress. The third trump in gaming and the third numbered Major Arcana in cartomancy. She is often depicted as a woman wearing a dress with a rose motif (representing femininity), and in some decks she is pregnant. Venus' Mirror (better known as the female symbol) is present or hinted at in the depiction. Historical (i.e. card-game-oriented) decks bring us the iconography of sceptres, thrones, and either orbs or shields, usually believed to be an allusion to Adelaide of Burgundy, who was canonised as a Catholic saint in 1097 and was the Holy Roman Empress from 962 to 973.
In cartomancy, she represents feminine traits and mothers. Upright, she urges nurturing and represents a motherly figure in one's life. Reversed, she is neglectful, and may very well represent a lack of such a figure.
