Bongani
MemberThe Moon. Eighteenth of the trumps and major arcana, it is shown rising between two towers as a wolf and a dog howl at it. The path from between the two towers terminates in a pond, where a crayfish crawls out. Motes rain down from the moon; in the R-W deck they are shaped like the Hebrew letter Yod.
The Moon is all about mentalism - illusions, fears, imagination, and creativity. Upright, the moon indicates a new idea will soon emerge or come to fruition, and that their fears have, for the moment, been allayed. Reversed, it represents a failed idea, an unsettled mind, or deception.
