The Start of a New Adventure [By Fluff-Kevlar]

Fox and Krystal enjoying a beautiful and warm night on Sauria together. After having lost her once, Fox comes to terms with his feelings for the lovely Cerinian vixen and finally courts her. The pent up passion and affection they have for each other explode in a night of ardent love making under the very stars Fox once rescued her under. One Adventure may have ended, but it looks like a new, happier one is about to begin.

A poem, courtesy of tempo321
"Tawny under blue, sky above beach,
How our bodies roll like the sea.
Your smile shines sunlit, your gasp a beseech
When I bury my knot into thee."

No doubt my favorite commish to date~

Please favorite the original and watch the artist if you like it!

  • Actually, if you go to the artist's FA page, and download the full size version of this picture, it's 1.5 MB at a resolution of 1300 x 1224 pixels. That means this IS the higher res version, and the one that e621 should keep. It's also the version that should have been uploaded in the first place.

  • The joys of thinking up ways to interfere and make this horrible.

They're only experienced when severely bored otherwise.

  • Hmm...seems like everyone forgets that fox has metal robotic legs, not normal ones. Fox's hides his legs under his shoes and pants, other than making his robotic legs look like real one.

What will it take to get you as severely bored as possible? :DD

Continuity kicks in here, as does retconning.

Umm... what are you trying to say?

Originally, yes, Team Starfox was given robot legs for the sake of not having blood rushes during flight maneuvers. However, the creators of the game retconned that.

Hmm... I did not know that, then again I thought Nintendo stop caring about starfox.

  • Headcanon says they got cybernetic implants as upgrades to replace the sawed-off legs.

We do see fast-cloning in the comics, after all, so it's not unlikely they can just pop their legs back on whenever they need them.

They retconned it at either Adventures or Assault.

  • Yeah... there's no way that they were going to have Krystal cut off those lovely legs of hers, so she could pilot her Arwing.... They must have made it to were the arwings use some sort of field for the cockpit, or something that makes amputation unnecessary.

  • But, then again, bionic legs WOULD explain how fox can do his flaming fox attack, in Smash Brothers... Perhaps the Starfox team actually DID need to amputate their legs, with the Earlier Arwing models, and Krystal happened to join after they upgraded the Arwings to where amputations weren't necessary?

  • The field you mention is the G-diffuser system. It was introduced in Lylat wars/ Starfox 64. The only real reason they had metal legs in the original game was a budget reason for Nintendo: it cost too much to render a full character so they skimped on the legs and invented the metal legs thing to compensate for it. It's been retconned since 64 so 1997...
