    Finger pressure pulls the side they're on into the center of the concave palm on the other side so lefty jerkin' bends it right and vice versa.

    :/ While you might be right. I'm certainly not one to only go "half way". I prefer using the full length during each stroke. So therefore that concave bending you speak of is apparently not applied to me.

    I guess it ultimately depends on what kind of technique you use I suppose XD
