  • I know it’s hard to tell with a character that doesn’t talk or emote much, but I can almost hear Farra mentally saying “There! Now shut up!”

  • So a pizza folded is a taco, which is also a calzone. This means a calzone unfolded is a pizza. Pretty straightforward. Now we take the taco concept further, if a folded pizza is a taco than an unfolded taco is a pizza, an unfolded taco is also a tostada. A pizza is a tostada.
Further, one could argue a folded pizza being a calzone is similar to a taco being turned into a burrito, it’s the same thing but mostly enclosed. An enclosed pizza is a burrito, an open pizza is a tostada, a tostada is a pizza and a burrito is a calzone.
Further, what is a calzone or a burrito if not just a filling inside a container? It puts it in the same realm as a pop tart as being a calzone, that’s not too crazy.
Further again, the fundamentals of what comprises a soup, it is a liquid with stuff in it. Soups can have variety in the ratio of liquid to solid components, a beef stew can be a much more solid soup than something like French onion would be.
I would consider then that pizza sauce and toppings when you take the crust out of the equation can be a soup. It is a tomato based soup. And if that’s a tomato based soup, then chili is a soup. And chili can come in breadbowls, now the soup factor isn’t reliant on the container as the bread can be a container.

Therefore pizza, as we know it, when folded into a calzone or taco, becomes soup in a bread bowl.

This also means salad is soup, since it’s stuff in a liquid, vegetables in dressing, just the ratio is far skewed towards more stuff and less liquid. As the spectrum of what soup is comprised of can be everything from very chunky to very liquid.
When you go to a restaurant and they ask if you want soup or salad, they’re asking if you want soup or soup. And if you order a calzone you also ordered soup.
