Like imagine founding an ideology that declares all gays should be killed (amongst other things) only to decades later have it be appropriated by horny femboys.

Honestly after being on this site a while, (I was on here a few years before creating an account) it doesn’t really surprise me that much. My theory is people are either doing it to be edgy or out of spite of what happened in the past. Or this is one of those things you simply never would have imagined to be someone’s fetish.

I recall for a while punks, especially in England utilized nazi theming and symbology to sort of spite the older generation who actually lived through the horrors of the Blitz and Holocaust and such. They stopped after actual neonazis started to show up (and also said neonazis co-opted the somewhat related skinhead movement as their own).
There's also one of my favorite Dead Kennedys songs, Nazi Punks Fuck Off, it is exactly what you think it is. Made after they started to notice actual nazis trying to hide themselves under the punk banner, especially after DK released (The satirical) California Uber Alles (Also very good).
Another third thing, nazi porn movies have been a thing since the end of WW2, I recall they were actually popular in Israel for a while, psychology and traumatic events is weird man.

There were a few gay nazis but when they were found out they would end up in a box soon after. A surprising (or unsurprisingly, if you know some things like me.) amount of minorities also joined in the reich's crimes against humanity, like some Jews, many Muslims, blacks, even some slavs joined in (mostly Russians and Ukrainians but a lot them just wanted to fight the Soviets and did not know of the extent of their horrid activities.)
