Why did the artist "draw" an AI looking signature under their "real" signature?
Is there an inside joke I'm missing where the artist adds AI artifacts to their paintings because of their earlier works also looking AI generated/assisted?

Maybe they were just fidgeting with their pen. Maybe they were trying fix an inkflow problem. Maybe it's possible that not everything has an explicitly or implicitly human-created meaning. Maybe it's possible that things can exist without any association to AI. Just somethings to contemplate :)
Bonus maybe for the ultra paranoid. Maybe they did it just to make you - yes specifically just you - confused.
