Jarlium
MemberHey lads. Jarlium here.
So I would like to try something here in the e6 comment section.
Would you like to critique my art and help me get better?
Be direct, be MEAN. Give me your worst. I have a cast iron stomach for critique!

MemberI can't visually understand at a glance from this image that Susie's shoes are heels. It genuinely looked for a moment that she had hooves, which was weird because I remember her being plantigrade.

MemberHey Jarlium! Your Ralsei and Susie art are absolutely legendary. That being said I'm personally getting tired of seeing these specific angles, where the actual thing going on is hidden. I get the appeal but I also think it's been done more than enough times to outlive its novelty. Wouldn't be surprised if I was in the minority here but just my own two cents.
Jarlium
MemberI honestly have no idea what sort of legs Susie has. The fact that there is cannon ones somehow surprises me.
But next time I will try to prevent that.
Jarlium
MemberFair enough. It is a respectable oppinion.
I have gained a few comments against these and a lot more in favour.
In the end I like drawing them so I see no reason to stop.

MemberThe composition of Susie's feet feel unstable. Like she's either about to start falling back or that this is taking place on a slight incline. I think this may be caused by the flats of her soles leading slightly up and to the left, and the line of stability for the heels coming at an angle that points up and to the right.
Jarlium
MemberSpot on, it would quickly be fixed if i were to rotate the image 2 degrees.
GoteGote
MemberCompletely fair. I'll honestly just be hoping for more of it with Ralsei and Susie at least

MemberI think your art is generally good, but it’s seriously annoying to constantly see the same repeated tropes in all your art. The same cheesy text message conversations, the same foot-level pictures where everything is out of frame, the same magic fleshlight stuff. It’s a very low effort way of making popular NSFW art that hits the algorithm here, and i’m sick of it. I’d like to see you branch out more often. Because, when you do, it’s actually very good.

MemberThis one warrants a bigger response.
There is a few factors at play here. If you look at the text messages in particular a big reason is because honestly. They sell VERY well. If you pay attention all but 1 of the latest 20 has been commissions or YCH.
And that one is a YCH that did not sell <.<
The second is that i have been working on a comic. This meant that for several months I did not accept big commissions. So that meant I did more small stuff.
With this comic being 99% done you can expect to see more big stuff in the future :D
The third is that small pieces allows me to experiment more, be it with shadows, colours or just tweaking one very small detail in my process. I like to consider that one of the reason why I improve fast.
And this is the most important one. I am a fundamentally lazy productive person. Oxymoron much huh. What I mean by that is that I LOVE working on art, I LOVE giving it as much details possible and I LOVE giving my entire soul and effort into any given piece.
I Just don't like to work too long on a piece. Which leads to these leg pictures, butts or portals.
Now that I have listed the reasoning. I want to state the truth that you are right. It is relatively low effort.

MemberRalsei's text is significantly worse to read compared to Susie's due to lower contrast (blackish text with black outline on dark grey background. It would probably be fixed with light outline.

MemberYour art is great, but I really think you should show off the actual deed going on, stuff like this gets hard to imagine after a while
