  • Serah should really let him finish. She's jumping to many conclusions about what he's going to say, especially since she thinks his priority is that Jayden is putting them up. Not gonna really blame her though, anxiety and pressure do mess with how you view situations

  • I honestly don't think they are really imposing on Jayden. In many ways they are both getting what they want. Jayden is getting to live with her man, Keith, with no complaints no Harassment just the two of them together alone and free to do whatever they want like newlyweds with a no baggage honeymoon period. As close to a fresh start as possible, and at the same time Jayden is earning the respect and trust she deserves as their new mom.
Serah and Seb get a place of their own and the freedom it brings. They are free to do what they want when they want and explore themselves in a way they could never have while living at home, free from criticism negativity and judgement. In a way they too get to have a no baggage honeymoon period that they would never have gotten otherwise and with it an important taste of what life as an adult will be like.
Is clear that Jayden at least understands this and hopefully Keith does as well by this point. I'm hoping that Jayden just ends up taking her stuff and moving in with Keith fully, letting Serah and Seb have her apartment or they patch things up enough that they can work out all four of them living together as one big family.

I believe it is meant as a way to show she is nervous or anxious. By her own statement "was wondering when we'd rip this band aid off" she is saying/feeling/showing she was really not looking forward to, nor ready for, this conversation. She is trying to deflect the topic. Jayden is just the scapegoat she is using since Jayden is directly involved and they are staying at her place. Serah knows exactly why Keith is there. She knows what he is there to talk about. She just isn't prepared for it since Keith showed up out of the blue. Keith probably expected to find both her and Seb there only to find her all alone. He seems to holding back his words so he doesn't overwhelm her. He is, sort of, deflecting the topic himself. IMO

It figures that incest is an uncomfortable topic to discuss in general, but I hope Keith and Serah find some way to talk it over. (And maybe Seb comes back from his interview in the midst of whatever dialogue is to come? Who knows?)

Come on Serah, don't say so much, don't make this is easy for him. He's the reason you had to move out. You and Seb did nothing wrong, you deserve some respect!

If the goal is to patch up a relationship then pushing someone away is NOT the answer.

  • I'm getting the feeling he's going to pull a parent authority play and demand they come back home. (and stop the sex)

Maybe…, and looking back at his conversation with Jayden at the overlook (when she realized he was stone cold sober) he’s kicking himself. He has blamed himself for not being the father he should have been, since the loss of their mom. He’s likely trying to mentally work through this situation too.

I’m guessing though: he might go full parenting mode as well; more on Serah since there’s been that rift between them.

And honestly that isn't even the only thing that needs speaking on. They have years of feelings from her seeming resentment of him and him being emotionally unavailable for so long that need at least some starting point to be dealt with. The mom's death is still something that weighs heavily and nothing has been done about that for quite a long time

  • I agree that she is mostly talking on and on out of nervousness but at the same time she is assuming that they are going to STAY moved out and that dad has/will have to accept it. MAybe Keith is going to say he wants them to move back and he will accept (but NOT condone) what they are doing/but he would at least rather they be at home. So far he seems calm so no indication yet that he will go the other way and blow up. He has to be smart enough to know that will only push them further away. And it's pretty universal that anytime someone forbids sex it will only happen MORE lol.

Wouldn't really matter what he wants though would it? It's not like he can force them to come back home or forcibly split them up. They have their own place thanks to Jayden and it likely won't be long before both Seb and Sarah have their own jobs and can afford their own place and can move out on their own without him or Jayden involved at all.

And even if he did somehow manage to force them to come home it wouldn't be long before they move out and get back together anyway.

So pretty much at this point he can either accept them and try to patch things up the best he can or just push them away further by trying to be the authoritative figure.

I agree he shouldn't and couldn't FORCE them to come back home but if he calmly says, "Hey looks kids, I know I made some mistakes and should have paid more attention to you, and although I can't approve of what you are doing, but I want you to come back home and be a family again." I think Seb and Serah are smart enough to see that they could do that and it might be best, at least for a little while or until they are out of school.

  • God, you all talk to much every comic piece.
I love it too, blah blah.
Glad to see incest provoking so much thinking.

Starting to talk is a great way to start a conversation.

I was about to say "No shit sherlock", but then I realized you have a valid point.

I already posted on previous installments from the saturday morning panels but holy hell it’s wild how little people realize how much this can shake a family, socially, relationally, financially, emotionally, and medically in most cases (cause inbreeding results in more disfigured and dead offspring)… get a grip people this comic is fantasy land where it’ll probably work out in the end but there’s no need to route on the obviously risque and wrong decision to go through with familial inbreeding… or whatever this comment is doing 😭

Well, this story isn't dark, but since the dad is still the legal guardian, he could split them up if thats what the author wanted (author has been good to us though). He could get them institutionalized in a loony bin until their incestuous tendencies are over. An even crueler alternative if the father was evil would be to give one up to an orphanage/foster home and keep the other one. The nuclear option would be to accuse his son of grooming his daughter (since they are both minors, statuatory rape doesn't care if she consented), and the son would be stuck in juvie (best-case scenario) or tried as an adult (worst-case scenario).

Again, this fun and horny incest story wouldn't do that, but a parent wanting to keep two kids away from each other would have options.

  • I'm thinking it'd be neat if this chapter will be about Serah mending her relationship with her father, which iirc she still thinks he's a drunk deadbeat behind his back. Maybe even go over their shared trauma from the car accident.
