monstera plants are hard

Here are some tips when drawing Monstera deliciosa:

1. The petiole (the part connecting the leaf and the main stem) doesn't bend, the geniculum does (the part connecting the petiole and the leaf).

2. The outer fenestrations are a bit too deep, try shortening it out a bit.

3. Leafs this size should have some inner fenestrations (holes), at least 1 column.

4. The leafs should be a bit rounder in shape, the one here is a bit too... spaced out.

5. Always have references! These are some of the hard to draw plants out there

I know all this because I have a big one at home, and I sometimes sell cuttings of it. Oh, and the fruits are delicious too (hence the name, deliciosa).
