Looking at the way Gervic is helping Vlagg up now versus how he usually did back then, I'm 90 percent sure that he's expecting.

Gervic is being surprisingly chill with the guy who just shot his husbando.

Zaer recognizes their love, but we have no idea how he will react.
Vlagg is a big mystery cloud to Zaer, only the wolves' knowledge of the Degralls should be all he knows. Zaer saw Bob rape Gervic rape firsthand, so he must suspect more malice from Bob than Vlagg, but his imagination can run anywhere at this point.
Keep Zaer talking, no rash actions. Let's all agree that this all started with Bob, and Vlagg is the best we have.

The body wasn't found, from what we know, but Vlagg did report his death to his clan. Wouldn't know why his clan would know otherwise, or if they had interest with Bob at all. The Degralls certainly didn't bring him up in the meeting at the beginning of the Epilogue.

I know the concern is that Gervic chopped Bob's fucking leg off yet with magic Bob recouped to fighting strength in a Chapter. But having a shoulder dislocated, broken jaw, slit throat and falling off a tower should have some lasting consequences, magic be damned.
