( unfortunately I just found out it was banned from most sites, but still accessible. Very good horror/fun game.

Horror games:
-dead space (general/body horror)(if you haven't already played it)
-darkest dungeon (existential horror)
-subnautica (for if you have thalassophobia)
-returnal (has some pretty good existential dread vibes)

Metroid Dread is pretty good, more traditional 2D platformer/metroidvania, but legitimately scary/dreadful on first playthrough :3

Given that this is a furry website, I'm sure she's been mentioned before, but you should check out some games by ArcadeKitten. Light horror visual novel-style with some WILD writing. It's Not Me, It's My Basement, Crowscare and My Neighbor Enide are my personal favorites.

I dunno, the emmi's kinda felt choreographed. There was a spike of anxiety whenever I hit an emmi zone but i felt safe because I would never run across an emmi randomly roaming. They were predictable. The Sa-X on the other hand, could attack at any time, was at the power level of samus at the endgame of a metroid game, there was no fighting back, and then suddenly, you were told that there were 24 of them, not just that one; that all knew where you were.
