She is a teacher though, an adult in a position of authority. You wouldn't want a teacher, male or otherwise, doing this IRL, no matter if its legal age

Gonna second this take. Legal doesn't necessarily mean moral. It might not be the "sexiest" take, but a romantic/sexual relationship between an 18-year old high school student and a 30-year old teacher is pretty damn creepy.

I wouldn't complain so much if this was just a porn comic, where it's just a series of loosely connected sex scenes, but the Alpha series has been a genuinely compelling drama this far. We've seen characters go through realistic relationship troubles like Richard not communicating well with Jill and Al in the beginning.

All in all, I hope the comic portrays this relationship in a way that emphasizes it not being healthy, because that's what I've come to expect from James Howard. But I guess we'll see.

Personally, I think it'd really only be bad if the teacher is one of the student's teacher. If the teacher, for instance, doesn't even teach at the same school the student is going to, then I don't think it'd be anywhere near as problematic. At least for the sake of college students/teachers. If it's a high school teacher and a high school student that's 18, it might be a little bit more worrisome. This is just my opinion on the matter, though; I'm sure there's bound to be different takes.

The fact she commented on Alph turning 18 just now, and she is his teacher. Yeah that's kinda weird.

The difference in age and authority is just too great but eh let's just see what happens though, too early to jump to sudden conclusions.
