Description

Not sure if this is already a card, but I love the idea
you can take matters into your own hands and force
a card effect, Dood!

Artist Notes:

1 Frame!

I love this! Love the direction they went with Bedman in
GG Strive too! Love my glasses-wearing guy, but there's
just something so visceral about this design style, Dood!

Doodle notes:

Ride the Lighting, Dood!

If you got an idea you've been dying to get
down on paper, go for it, Dood~!

  • "Destroyed by battle" isn't an effect so much as it is a condition. (Similar to how in Magic: the Gathering having damage equal to toughness doesn't actually get rid of the creature, the state-based effects the game checks for after literally every event in the game does assuming the creature doesn't have indestructible.)

    The wording would be:

Target any number of Monsters on your side of the field and send them to the GY; treat these Monsters as if they were destroyed by battle. You lose 1000 LP for each Monster sent to the GY under this effect.

(And yes, "GY" and "LP" are both valid Problem-Solving Rules Text abbreviations for the Graveyard and Life Points, respectively.)

Great to know for next time! Getting some great notes from this card adventure!
And the more I get, the more I'm glad peeps were able to get the intended effect
wording on the first time around! Thanks for dropping by and commenting, Dood!

I dabble in custom MtG cards and am a watcher of both TheDuelLogs and the Rarran Cinematic Universe (Rarran/CovertGoBlue/Cimoooooo) so I have some familiarity with how YGO cards are templated and worded nowadays.

Coolio! Big fan of TheDuelLogs myself too, Dood!

This is still incredibly new to me, While I'm having a blast,
knowing the formatting as well as you do would really help
me for my next card idea Haha!

Especially since the next' is gonna be real tricky getting
down on a card, since it has an effect that triggers only
on that card's destruction "By" effects. And I don't know
how YGO cards would phrase that.

Really fun~! But, gonna be a pickle getting down and
maaaay need to wing it, Dood~!

"If this card is destroyed by a(n opponent's) card effect" seems to be the wording you're looking at, depending on if you want the effect to be one you control or not.

Sweet! That's just what I was looking for!
Thanks for the assist, and when I get a sec,
expect to see another card from me! Hopefully
You'll be able to drop in on then to see how
    I did, Dood!
