  • Just for the record, I have a Bad feeling about Zen. I think he might actually die soon... and I'm not trying to be negative or anything, this is my legitimate concern. I think Zen is going to die because Tom seems to be focusing A LOT of attention on him.

Zen is a character we have not explored and right now in the current comic he is captured and in the situation he is in, it is likely that after he gives up the antidote he will be killed because the group does not know if they can trust the assassin enough not to kill them as he was contracted to. Like many other side characters before they die, the creators drum up random bits of information to get the viewers invested in the character before killing them making them feel saddened afterwards.

An example of this would be Asuma Sarutobi from the anime Naruto; Before his death he barely got any screen time then all the sudden he got TREMENDOUS amount of screen time letting us know who he is, what kind of person he is, his back story and experiences In flashbacks; 2 episodes later...he was dead... and all who cared about his character mourned for him.

The fact that Zen and Natani get a whole secret side story to themselves and Zens in a bit of a pickle only says to me that Zen is going to be pushing up daisies really soon.
I don't want Zen to die...

I wonder how Tom will move on plot wise from here on out.
And so the plot thickens, like Charles Dickens.
