It doesn't matter if it's a GIF version or not, it's different enough from the original (obviously, it's an animation, not a still image). Would you really go back an flag anything done by Washa or Jasonafex? It's extremely pointless.

Sadly gifs with this amount of smoothness need a lot of tweaking. I have no idea about the particulars but I'd say this is as good as it gets.

An indication of the other leg I think would make this feel more 3 dimensional.
