This one in particular is actually eggification, I just don't have an animation for that part because I don't need it until an area that's a lot further down the line (for lore reasons). Most other enemies have regular digestion endings that can optionally show a melt animation in the player icon.

Outside of this project, yes. I'm trying to make it so that anyone can tune the game to their liking, so outcomes are left ambiguous. As far as I'm concerned, the player determines you reform after gameover, or just restart, with no correct canon answer. Other than that, it's in the same setting, and will share a few characters (not the pokemon ones though just for like, potential legal reasons).

Isn't ub into eggification just transformation with extra steps? Especially if the transformee hatches from the egg and becomes the offspring of whatever unbirthed them.

Yes, but the main difference in game terms is that you don't see anything past the egg stage. That plus I think it's more of a specific thing that hits different buttons for some people than just regular TF stuff, so I kept it it separate.

this reminds me a LOT of Echidna Wars DX (seriously check that thing out) its a absurdly good GAME, like actual metal slug clone that was well made on top of being a porn game as an extra.
i still remember the damn unbirth with the snake from that game, hope you can get close to that level of quality gameplay wise because that one is quite high level seriously.
