MemberThe Millie cheated theory is making the rounds again, but there is no way it can be real right?
ZombieDWolf
MemberI doubt it'll go that way, but I also seriously doubt this plot line will be handled well regardless.
Chaelee
MemberApparently people cannot conceive of the idea that pregnancy can be scary for people: even if we sidestep the whole abortion issue, there's plenty of reasons for Millie to react the way she did for reasons that aren't cheating.
Millie is an assassin, a job that she clearly enjoys doing , and is very physical in nature. More importantly, it's a risk to the child now and in the future. Another angle to look at is are they even financially ready for the additional load of a new child? Because what little we've seen of domestic life they live in a dump. Millie could also simply not desire a child at this time or at all, it's a thing people decided. Or this was an accidental pregnancy.
Boom, 4 different reasons why Millie is anxious and scared to have a baby that actually line up with what we've seen on screen so far
Kingding23
MemberUnlikely but not impossible. Though I'd respect Viv if she had the balls to go that route.

MemberYou are my new favorite person.

MemberI also really need that Mox face as an emote.
MidnightFox323
MemberThat and the fact that people seem to find it hard to believe that Moxxie couldn't get Millie pregnant. With how much pull Moxxie has from the fandom since a lot people tend to ship him with other demons, or even make him a harem king, I can't understand why they can't believe that the baby that Millie is carrying is Moxxies. Come on.
Chaelee
MemberThat's just reading your own problem onto society at large
Chaelee
MemberThanks, frankly it's just brewing resentment that I can barely interact with the community of two shows I enjoy, because most of them are media illiterate children
Whythoughh
MemberThere's a 0% chance she cheated unless Viv wants the entire fandom to hate Millie.
KurogamiRyuta
MemberWhat's wrong with them just being a normal, monogamous couple? How is cheating an interesting thing to you?
Ruinruined
MemberAnother possible factor: Millie's childhood was a good one, but Moxxie's was horrible. Millie understands this, and so she might not want to saddle Moxxie with a fatherhood that could potentially dredge up a lot of remembered pain for him. Why unsettle a marriage that has been happy so far without children?

MemberLoona's back muscles...what are we talking about again.
Dracocrush
MemberThat is why I usually avoid actually diving into fandoms. I just enjoy the show and the porn. Makes life happy and easy.
RoyalHoney
MemberI have faith that the show will handle it well. I have no reason to think they'll handle this plotline poorly
Chaelee
MemberWhich is what I do, but its very lonely and isolating, there are things that I'd like to talk about. Just not with minors, and the people who are the reason for Netflix's new mandate going forwards, that characters in their original shows have to say aloud how they feel and what theyre doing.
Ruinruined
MemberThat sounds... anti-dramatic. What on Earth prompted Netflix to take this route? Audiences can figure out for themselves how a character might feel, and what a character is doing. But if the audience can't, then the character becomes pleasingly mysterious.
Kingding23
Member“You know I love you, right?” Kinda suspicious to say to your spouse when you’re pregnant.
Ruinruined
MemberNot suspicious if you are bracing yourself to add, "I can't have your child. Later, maybe, but not now."
Especially if you love your work, too.
Dracocrush
MemberWell, at the end of the day I am just odd and prefer being on an island. But, Mox becoming a house husband would be pretty nice and cute. Dude never seems to enjoy his job and only really seems to stick with it to be close to Millie.
Oormire
MemberAs a father who survived a terrible childhood, I vet this idea. My wife and I had a lot of extremely long and complicated conversations, before settling in having a child. It's never been easy, just worth the struggle.
MeatfeastPizza
MemberOne of the most sensible comments that I’ve seen so far on this upcoming plot line. Thank you. Heck knows I usually stay clear of the fandom because of reasons like this, which sucks because there’s a lot of good discussions that could be had.
But nope. Lot of folks are just going down the line of “Millie’s pregnant! She must have cheated on Moxxie” not even trying to think further than that.
Toonistoftheworld
MemberHow they even came to that conclusion after 2 seasons of “Millie is just Moxxies loving wife” and the show literally showing that she is 100% loyal is beyond me,.
Panininha
Memberthe only reason viv would do that was if she was tired of the show and wants to get rid of it as soon as possible. Also yeah, people are too lost into their own fantasy world to realize "oi! that's right! married couples can have children of their own!"
Panininha
Memberpeople too lost in their own mind fantasy to realize love is a thing and couples aren't just meant to have sex 24/7
