Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Description

A plush Christmas elf stands at the foot of a large mound of coal on a north poll worksite, wearing a red pleated skirt, pointed red Santa hat, green top, and black and white striped thigh-high socks. She is confused to see a gift among the coals. The elf crouches down, inspecting the "naughty gift," which is a mimic in disguise.

After an unknown amount of time, the elf is found unconscious, the naughty box wrapped around her face. The box undulates, slamming into and jostling her face as white fluid drips from under the box and down her chin. A wet spot marks the front of her skirt as the same fluid leaks from below.

To free the unconscious elf, a second elf tugs on the box, using his entire weight to pull it off. The naughty box is revealed to have deeply wriggled its amorphous shadowy body into the elf, oozing and spurting the same white liquid that coats her face, crotch, and leaking from her ears. Refusing to let go, the mimic wraps around her torso, gushing more and more as it stretches elastically from being tugged on. The still-unconscious elf flops limply, as her co-worker attempts to dislodge the creature.

    And then the mimic ends up attaching itself onto THAT worker instead, causing yet another worker to come out and investigate. And the cycle continues.
