I can see an earthquake from just the force of firing it, but the spent cartridge doesn't look big enough to cause an earthquake just from falling on the ground. It looks to be about the size of a passenger jet or submarine, and it's similarly hollow.

Given the height of the ladder sight for the length of the barrel, expect it to be a medium to low pressure piece, with an element of 'lob' involved when its fired.
