Yknow it looks like he's just kinda... patting her butt, not really slapping it.. needs a little more pullback to emphasize a bit of force.

Given the position, movement, the hand... My first thought was that it's a quiet reference to a video clip I've seen a fair few make fun of. The guy is unsure of what to do with his hand (blocking camera angles and such), and makes that exact same motion repeatedly. Maybe it's not intended to be an ass-slap

I read this and then I see her reacting as if it were a good slap. I'm confused.
