    This is Acetalyne welding. This requires a shade of at least 5 to no more than 10 on the glasses, so some sunglasses would actually work for this as most sunglasses are shade 2-4 with an occansional 5. Also they are welding, but not with stick, as the stick requires electric current, that is a fill rod that as the pool forms you may add more molten metal as you move along thepieces of metals edge. If they are brazing the fill rod will be of a softer metal like brass or bronze. Acetalyne welding generates a fair amount of heat, but, unless you're cutting, it generates a relatively low amount of sparks.

  • Im a journeyman welder and personally i would tig weld his arm itd be the cleanest and most accurate shes basically frying his arm
