You can click the little question mark next to tags you're confused on. Invalid color means that this image is tagged with a tag whose color is no longer used.

No, we just invalidated tags like "purple" because the tag "purple" doesn't tell us what is purple. Instead use "purple_fur", "purple_hair", "purple_eyes", "purple_clothing", etc., etc. etc.

I know. I was making a joke. Flamezombie mentioned "a tag whose color is no longer used", which I jokingly took to mean that at some point, the admins decided to abandon the very idea of a color (i.e. purple) altogether, and replace it with a different one.

You know, a minor color change would make these two look like Dink and Iris... That's not a bad thing. lol
