The newer Yautja don't all wear the mesh armour. I'm still wondering about the new armour, myself.

I just found this ironic as hell considering I just got done playing a few rounds of Alien Vs. Predator on xbox with my buddies. It made me snicker a bit

actually, the mesh is metal fibers that have a heating system in them[i think]to keep them warm, more like their home planets teperature.

Actually xenomorphs can see, but it's not like the human eyesight, they see outlines of objects (correct me if I'm wrong)

yeah I never got that either. I just wrote it off as a tribal thing or maybe the wires SOMEHOW help with the cloaking.

It's a mesh fiber that has a heating system in it. it's also very lightweight so they can move and jump with minimal restrictions.

yes, it's a little difficult to pinpoint, but the "eyes" of a xenomorph are actually on the interior mouth.

I think I have seen on some xenomorph where the eyes are on there forehead under dark translucent exoskeleton but whenever you see a xenomorph on the movies it's dark and that's why you can't see them.

On the eyes bit, that kinda keeps with the older AVP video games. Whenever you did a head bite as an Alien it makes it look like you ARE seeing it from it's inner mouth.

There was indeed a design where the dome was clear and, if you looked close, you could see what looked like part of a human skull with eye sockets, but there was no way of telling if there were any eyes there.

Indeed, they SEEM to sense a lot via pheromones and, depending on the continuity, a semi hive-mind connection to other xenos bred from the same hive.

Eyes are more of a recessive trait for them, hence their affinity to stay in the dark.
