I'm guessing those piercings lodged in her skin.

Looks rather impractical (not to mention uncomfortable) for moving your arms around... =/

    Some people enjoy the pain.

Wouldn't the skin mostly stay in place when moving your arms? It's not like the piercing is attached to the scapula. But yeah, it does not look comfortable either way.

They're not? Cause I think it looks like they are, at least those right upper two. =/

Though if you meant they're not directly connected to the bone: that's true, but just put a finger on there and start swinging your arm around.
I think you'll find that the skin moves underneath your finger (a bit, but that should be enough), and that's what's going to suck when it's kept firmly in place by a ring with a tight ribbon connected to another ring.

Then again, if I'm to believe that other person's comment these piercings do exist IRL, so perhaps I'm wrong.

Well yeah I meant the bone, the shoulderblade. That'd be weird.
And yeah the skin stays in place while moving the shoulder blade for the most part. Dunno how much tension the piercings would be subjected to, but it still seems like a pretty crazy concept.

According to this wikipedia article (which is perhaps not the greatest article but I don't really care much about body modification xD) corset piercings can be done as a temporary thing, but making them permanent is hard. Maybe if you get a bunch of transdermal piercings and they heal well and are anchored to the skin etc. ... even then it still seems risky as fuck.
I'm not really a fan of piercings/tattoos myself. Not that I'd think less of someone just because of that. To each their own.

It's a Taboo. Some people like being "hung from hooks" from piercings in their skin. It's not uncommon either. So piercings like this is mild compared to some.

  • Fucking doggy style, and roughly at that, with a corset piercing... hurts. All I'm going to say.

Do love this, otherwise. Always loved Miles' stuff. :3
