It's because it's an updated version of the previous post. So the Faves are automatically carried over to the new one so that those people don't have to RE-fave it once the lesser version gets removed.

It's because when a post of a lower resolution is replaced with a larger resolution, the old ID is deleted but the favorites are carried so people don't lose things they wanted to keep a tab on.

Occasionally, something you put on your favorites a long time ago will bump back up to the top with the others on your profile. That's because when the transfer happens, all of the previous names are brought over at the same time. Thus adding it to your more recent favorites as if you actually hit the favorite button twice. The old post however, is removed from your favorites.

I just hope she doesn't emasculate him further by taking away his favorite toy.
