Description

commission for Twang over at furAffinity. Had a lot of fun with this one, trying out some new rendering techniques. I'm pretty happy with the final result.

can you do some kind of soft speedpaint to show how you get those nice lines?

I would assume all you need is some nice brush settings and you're off.

ahh shoot, must've missed it, sorry bout that. It takes me roughly 3-5 days to make these. It's usually 1-2days for the animation itself, 1-2 days for the coloring, and a day of fixing any major goof ups so it's passable to submit online. Sometimes requests add extra unexpected workload to my stuff too. I'm aiming to be a bit faster.

Damn, thats longer than I expected. I was thinking it would be like a day or something. Btw what program you use for animating?

I use TVpaint. This animation is 14 frames long, including base coloring, shadows, and 1.5 characters. Assuming this took 4 days of 8hr work days, that is 32 hours. About 2.28 hours per drawing, assuming a 3 day schedule, this is 1.71 hours per drawing. My speed should be getting faster the more i work, I've only got 2 months(12 projects) under my belt so far. I think I'm working at a decent though.

Damn o.O Its pretty jaw dropping how much you need to work for such a small thing.

5 days for 20 seconds fapping... oh wait, considering the amount of times the same person will view this pic... and the amount of people doing that...

the total time may well amount to far more than five WEEKS!(maybe even months)... good job man!...

wait a minuet! i can do the math can't i?

assuming people spend at least 20 seconds watching this loop per run, and that there are currently 100,215 views, i can say that this has taken up 23 days worth of watch time at the least!

    x2 good job combo!
