Description
Here is a full-sized version of the tavern from the middle panel of page 861. This digital painting took me the better part of a day and a half, not counting time spent roughing out the concept sketches. I've always loved colorful fantasy landscapes. Sweeping images of places that can pull you into a different world. And while these backgrounds can sometimes make the page take a lot longer to draw, it's a great way to practice. And that's really what Twokinds is all about - a canvas for me to continually attempt to improve my art.
And while I might not always be successful, and I'll probably never be an AMAZING painter, it's fun to do. :) And I hope you find it fun to look at!
...Seriously, though. Proooobably shouldn't invest so much time into one little panel next time.

MemberTime/panel ratio: While it does slow the overall progress, this is definitely worth it!
