News: Feb 26, 2025 Show

Feb 26th:A new bill in Arizona is making its way through the Senate that would force sites like e621 to implement mandatory age verification for all users—or face potential lawsuits. This system would require third-party vendors to verify every user’s age through a government database. Not only is this a massive violation of privacy, but it also introduces serious risks, including identity theft through phishing schemes and other malicious methods. Worse still, we would have no control over ensuring that user data is permanently deleted after verification.

Since e621 operates out of Arizona, this law would almost certainly impact us if it passes. If you want to help ensure that we can continue serving you without being forced to collect personal information, we urge you to contact Arizona’s senators and ask them to vote NO on this bill.

Please help spread the word about this issue and encourage others to take action.

    I'm really digging the message I get from this comic. It's like, you shouldn't pass up opportunities at finding your significant other in favor of pursuing your 'dream girl/guy'.

    Really, what does sheep boy know about sheep girl? He knows that she's pretty and that's about it. She's certainly not interested in him at all, he's just some guy to her.

    On the other hand, our guy's had 2 girls (technically 3, but he didn't know about voyeur-girl) that displayed at least a sexual interest in him, both opportunities he gave up. We saw with the fox girl that she seemed really down about being rejected, so that might have developed into something more. Now he's made friends with deer girl, and that's a great start if he were to pursue anything with her. Even if she just ends up being friend-material, he won't know unless he tries.

    That'd be my guess of where this comic is leading to. The guy will get set up with sheep girl, they don't really hit things off that well, and eventually sheep boy cools off and seeks out one of his previous love opportunities.
