I don't know what exactly started it, but it's a pretty common cartoon character trait for characters to be bottomless. The most iconic being Donald Duck and yogi bear, it's a pretty common to see a cartoon character with some sort of upper body clothing to seem like they're not TOTALLY naked.

Why a hoodie, then? Partly that, but also because a hoodie is a pretty common article of teenage clothing, and I figured it would be relateable! Plus, personally, I feel as though hoodies are associated with shy characters because they're easy to hide yourself in. I think it's association to shy/subby characters actually ties in to who clings to their hoodies IRL

But c'mon! I wouldn't call spike slutty here. There's nothing wrong with wanting a good hard fuck, especially when the occassion so conveniently presents itself!

I have no idea why, but I always found hoodies incredibly sexy, especially when it's all that's worn. Hell, if I wasn't asexual, I'd probably wear one in the bedroom.
