you can say "artist rendition" all you want, but if it looks nothing like the character you are drawing, then it shouldn't be tagged with that characters tag.

what the artist wants the character to look like =/= what the character looks like.

Well I'm no genius nor am I an artist, but I do believe that expecting an artist to draw a character completely, and absolutely flawless is pretty demanding.

Secondly, it's called fan art, and it almost never looks like the actual character. If you go look up can art on just about anything, I can guarantee that most of them won't look exactly like the character/object/whatever it's being drawn based off of. So why don't you go and tell all of those people to take off the character tag and see what kind of reaction you'll get and let the rest of us enjoy this lovely picture.
