  • The tail being cut off kind of ruins the appeal for me. :/

Yeah, I get the joke, that's what you do to Tigrexes in game but I feel it doesn't belong in an otherwise sexy picture like this.

I agree. Just do what I do and crop the picture. But I wouldn't upload it anywhere out of respect, just keep it local.

Like the other anon said, thats an easy thing to just crop out. It's better than other monster hunter images where you kind-of can't because of where the artist positioned it.

Being a sex slave is probably a better fate for her than being turned into a weapon or a set of armor.

Except captured monsters are always vivisected.

There's a number of quests where captured monsters are wanted for other purposes, so I don't know about that.

Correct, one quest is a guy who wants a deviljho to eat all of his failed dishes, one is literally capturing a khezu for a guy to give to his girlfriend (turns out they can be domesticated).

So, yeah, captured monsters only suffer whatever the job poster wants.

you missed the fact that her head is scarred and her claws are broken.

Add to it that any person who played the game and witnessed such a cropping would see the details I just mentioned AND that she's obviously captured is only going to be upset they don't have the full image.

Getting monster parts from a supposed friendly quest is cause for doubt.

Pretty sure that's just so you don't do a quest for nothing. I doubt they'd go through the trouble of changing every quest that doesn't aim to kill the monster to not give you parts.

The point still stands that not every monster is caught for the sake of being vivisected. Even if you get parts that's just following the usual gameplay mechanics.

  • 5 years later and the doubts can be put to rest. The captured monsters are studied, tagged, and released. Thank you MH:W/I!
