It actually bothers me that some people who aren't children like Sonic Boom but then again to each their own. The only show that did Sonic justice to me was the Saturday morning cartoon due to the story, characters and atmosphere that stuck with me all throughout childhood. The Adventures was funny and it was basically Sonic channeling Bugs Bunny. Hated Sonic X due to the over simplification of the characters and Chris ruining all the best moments of the Adventure Sagas. Sonic Underground was cheesy but it gave Sonic an actual parent which felt like a plus for me and I just can't stand Boom for too many reasons to count. And yes, hate me all you want, no one likes opinions after all.

Funny, I expected to hate the show as well, but the episode I watched seemed very well done, and original.

Sonic boom TV series is the best as it never takes it's self seriously.

the SatAm was based on the archie comics, which I detested since day one and trivialized the chaos emeralds and was more about some hamfisted love triangle drama than any sort of plot progression.

Sonic X I hated SO fucking much due to them fucking up Eggman (making him a bumbling idiot when he was supposed to be so smart that he tricked Tails into giving sonic a death sentence) and including MOTHERFUCKING CHRIS.

They proceeded to SHIT all over SA1 and 2 and that was unforgivable.

I never saw underground.

Oh, and the anime movie was freaking great, you just need to hear the original japanese voices and watch it subtitled.

I'm a bit surprised that Sanic and Sonic.exe aren't at the starting lineup.

Personally i liked Satam and SA aswell as SX underground was a bit to punk for me tho...never gonna watch boom for many reasons main ones be'n that they made knuckles a dumb jock and that i don't have TV service anymore

To be fair, knuckles being an idiot in Boom actually works well ,especially since Sonic and Eggman are neighbors and the most "intelligent" plot was when Eggman was locked out of his house and asked to bunk with Sonic and Tails and proceeded to torment them with late night movies and pillow fights.

Yes, it's one of the reasons I liked the 1st and 4th transformers movies as the humans were mostly trivialized or shown how useless they were.

The games of AvP work well with a human being playable and caught in the crossfire, as well as meat targets for both sides, but in movies it just detracts the conflict.

For sonic, the most that "other humans" should have had to do with the plot were to be fodder at the hands of Eggman. MOTHERFUCKING CHRIS and his relations just shouldn't have existed. I mean, the kid must have been mentally handicapped to some degree.

You've clearly never actually read the Archie Sonic comics, as they didn't inspire SatAM, it was the other way around, and then the comics greatly improved on it. Although admittedly it took Ian Flynn a while to fix it after Penders more or less ran the comic into the ground with his ideas.

Ever since the #252 "revamp", Sonic has been Pure Gold, taking the best elements from the past years of the comic, the SatAM and StH cartoons, and the games, and making the best stories ever, with an even balance of comedy, action and drama.

The only good thing about Sonic Boom is Sticks the Badger, and as the Sonic Boom comic is clearly getting canceled, odds are she'll move to the main Archie Comic.

it's funny because it's true.

The sonic boom is actually pretty funny. I won't say that it's plot is clever but it is surprisingly more enjoyable to watch than it should be. It's liked enough that they're making a second season later this year.

...Knuckles has always been a dumb jock in everything BUT the Archie comics...and even in those he's pretty simple-minded.

Sonic Boom is actually really funny. I came in ready to hate it, but after it came on and i was too lazy to change the channel, i sat through an episode and it was hilarious. It never takes itself too seriously, its littered with jokes and fun moments. Though Satam needs to be brought back up updated by the archie comics
