Depends on what kinda welding and just how assholish the mentioned 'boss' is. MIG welding. Yeah, hard to fuck up. TIG is a bitch. Took me two tries just to get my structural certification.

Also the type of metal being welded on.

In a SUB, "ALL" welds have to be perfect. Your lives depend on it.

Who said it was a sub? Plenty of battle and destroyer class ships have torpedo bays, not to mention air craft carriers. And if its just a storage bay and not a actual firing tube, I don't see why a boss would need to be overly anal about quality. Certainly visual inspection. Granted, you fail X-ray or ultrasound, kinda fucked there, but whatever, I'm rambling. Lovely art :D

I don't know anyone one whos got a Structural TIG cert, so good on ya!
Then again I dont know anyone other than myself who can Acetylene weld, and I hear TIG is similar, but I havent gotten around to trying it yet... So... Couldn't say anything on TIG yet, but still, thats a good one! Much applause!

...Is that the outline of a anatomically-correct pseudopenis on the hyena chick in the fourth panel? Because I was expecting a triangle down there and that's clearly not a triangle.
