    Because they're different species?
    "This doesn't seem physically possible!"
"That's exactly what she kept screaming, while in labor..."

  • The child is simply calling out for the stimulation of an early 20th century art movement subjecting itself to the concept of existential absurdity and societal nihilism.

It's possible that as Furries evolved from quadrupedal (ferral) creatures into bipedal(humanoid)ones that the genes that make them grow rapidly and get up walking fresh out of the womb are still active during early stages of childhood. This ability will either continue or end depending on its usefulness to cubs/kits/hatchlings of the next thousand years or so. The ability to speak at this young age might be atributed to the hightened sense of hearing and the visual responces to certain things. "If I'm red and have a scalie tail and this other male does too, he must be my dad." Just a theory.

I have no swift or witty rebuttal to contradict or counteract the hypothetical situation, and thus I can gladly accept the proposed theory you have presented me with open arms.
