MemberIt felt rather implausible that DT would break because she wanted friends (as she said in the episode). Rich people are always surrounded by friends and "friends", somehow it naturally comes with the money and fame. And if they're not completely stupid, they can even tell who is a real friend and who only pretends to be a friend because he/she wants to live at their expense.
Yeah, yeah, I know, it is a show for little girls.

MemberActually diamonds do break. They're hard, which means they won't get chipped or scratched, but a single hard blow can crack one in half. That's why diamond cutting is so difficult; they have perfect cleavage (the ability to crack in half under a blow) in five directions, and you can easily break one while trying to facet it.

MemberI find it kind of hard to feel for her seeing as how she's shown as a bully and a privileged child. So no, I dont feel bad for her.

MemberThat's kind of what happened to her in this episode. When a diamond is mined out of the ground, it's dull and glassy. In order for it to shine, it must be broken and chipped away. Similarly, Diamond Tiara was rough and mean, but the school election broke her and the actions of the CMC chipped away at her until she finally had the opportunity to stand up to her mother and metaphorically shine.

MemberIt is not a show for little girls! It is a show for little girls AND adult men.
