    I remember the guide of Pokemon Red warned about how trying to capture this would destroy your save file. So pretty much this.

    But more often then not, this pokemon never ddid corrrupt your save file. in fact I know one person who won that Toys R Us poke battle for the mew trading card (and ingame pokemon) by using one and agreeing to just shut up about it.

    I used a misingno before too. it has what looks like messed up GFX , but it has a name that also happens to refer to it's number (the missing number zero). so it's my belief this was added in by a programmer without as a secret easter egg.

    I caught some Missingno and it didn't rape my game at all. Except for the Fall of Fame, it made funny fucked up things!

    but on the other hand, if you use a rare candy on it when you catch it, it evolves into kangaskaun (sorry for the spelling :P).

    It screwed my save file up somethin' fierce. I was a little kid at the time and it broke my heart to lose my beloved pokemawns, so I called the Nintendo number on the back of my gameboy and asked if my save could be salvaged. They had me send in my game, fixed my save file, and sent it back with a free cleaning kit. They didn't have to do any of that, but they did, just because.

    Seriously, I fucking love Nintendo. Stuff like that is how you make fans for life.

    hell fucking yea dude. Been a Nintendo fan since I was 4
    , but when I played blue and yellow I never found missingno.
    I wonder why?
