Not to mention, there is a lorebook in ESO describing the history of "The Lusty Argonian Maid" that it's simply the same story but told around Tamriel in different ways; guy has suggestive maid who uses suggestive innuendos. Each region has a different telling, with the maid and master being different races depending who tells it. But yes, as this poster stated, the original bard knows nothing of argonians, and even shows that it's a satirical writting of how argonian women aren't; slutty. Don't forget, they are very looked down upon, and if I remember reading somewhere, the bard who first told the story was not exactly an argonian lover. So, if anything, the Lusty Argonian Maid is satire and possibly even racist to argonian behaviors.

ESO's a really bad source of TES lore though, since itw asn't made by bethesda and is, overall, pretty uh... well, 'wonky' to be nice. Just for one, the Lusty Argonian Maid wasn't written during the time period of ESO, because that's a third era thing and ESO takes place in the second IIRC.
