Description
Cruelty - Page 1 (Comic now COMPLETE!)
It begins! I spent most of the day remembering how to do this whole 'comic' thing. Other than a slight snippet I did for Heat recently, I haven't really comicked in about four years, so pardon me if I'm a bit rusty. Sadly, this means the comic pages will likely progress in cleanliness and overall. . . goodness. . . as they go on. But that's the whole point of doing this short comic, so. . . hopefully, I shall learn.
This comic will follow the stories of Marcus (Fennec Fox) and Reis (Wolfdog) in their Senior year of Highschool. Or rather, through about a week and a half of it. It won't be terribly long, but I hope to tell a story with at least a little bit of meaning, and maybe a more hopeful message towards the end than it begins with. It began based on a stand-alone image I did awhile ago, which you can find here: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/3279084/
Now, the disclaimers:
- I own the characters, art and story in this comic, but I'm not gonna be a Nazi about it. If for whatever reason you like them and want to use them for something, just let me know, and it's fine. I honestly doubt that'll come up, but I thought I'd mention it.
- This is a free comic, but I'd rather you not post it anywhere else. If it's a successful snippet, I may sell it some day, so. . . be kind, and don't steal.
- This comic contains ADULT THEMES. If you are under eighteen and reading this. . . your parents should be keeping better track of you. You have been warned. All pages with adult material WILL be marked as such.
- For. . . ehem. . . legal reasons. . . all characters featured in this comic in adult situations ARE 18 YEARS OF AGE or older. Yeah. . . .
That's about it. Enjoy! Pages will be posted, uh. . . pretty much whenever I feel like it. Sorry. . . I don't do schedules.

MemberIn the fully colored comic, there is 44 pages... I heard the audio book; you should buy the comic and play the audio book at the same time. It's almost like a movie.

MemberI listened to the mp3 version and I loved it, the voices match the characters perfectly. My heart breaks for Reis and his situation, it's great that he has someone there like Marcus to help him. Reis to me sounds, tender, caring, with a vulnerable passion about him that's beautiful and tragic. Marcus on the other hand is authoritative, with a "take charge" yet caring and determined attitude. The cop also has a kind, caring, authoritative attitude that's really nice. My favourite scenes in this comic other then Marcus lying on the bed seductively and he and Reis making passionate love, is the scene showing a close up of Reis' eye when he says "they keep taking her away" that's sad and beautiful.

MemberWhen Lou came over to Reis and Marcus' apartment and apologized for getting Reis fired from the warehouse and he told Marcus about Reis being a great wing man because he got the girls interested, then he would move in, I was thinking "the old bait and switch" lol. I love both comics.

MemberI think the titles are perfect, because life, people, and situations can be cruel and it's how we deal with them and how we emerge on the other side that makes us who we are and I think Reis and Marcus have done that. Also when people are in a relationship, they should love, cherish, and respect each other no matter what. So I think "Unconditional and "Cruelty" are perfect titles.
