Being down and out isn't being emo. When you're so low you don't want a hug isn't being emo. Just means you need to sort crap out. I'm at that point in my life. >.> I feel her pain. T.T

  • Secretly, nobody ever truly doesn't WANT a hug. Either they are indifferent or they would like to have one, or would love one.

This is the point where somebody is so low that they would likely be indifferent, or perhaps only slightly comforted. Only anger or irritation would altogether prevent her from wanting a hug, and here she seems more just upset and sad. So, I'd say that hugging is fair game. I'd certainly try to cheer the poor girl up a bit.

  • Reminds me of when I told my ex-girlfriend I was a furry... I pretty much did the exact same thing as this.

You never really felt like her, did you? Then you can't tell if she would be wanting a hug or not =p
Actually if she would want your hug or not depends on why is she sad and who you are to her...
I know, you want to hug her because of the man's protective instinct towards woman, but instead of helping it can makes her feel even worst.

  • sometime a hug is not the best thing its better to ask for what happen and let people empty their bag to relese the low feeling and get a grip on what just happen to see the good part of it sometime it could be long for that never underestimate a good friendship

  • I could use a THOUSAND hugs right now from the right person. I need sex and romance. Due to my wife's LONG illness, we had been celibate for 25 years. GOD I NEED A HUG AND SEX. And I'm out of wine.....

  • She's a rape victim suffering from shell shock. No cure for nostalgia like a blast from the past, and I'm more then ready to force it around!

you can think thats funny and still appreciate the emotion in this picture

its called keeping things separate in your mind (related to knowing the difference between fantasy and reality which certain morons also need to work on)
