It's a joke, dude. About the fact that there are something like 15-20 'legendary' pokémon now, whereas they've only added maybe twice that many 'worthwhile' (meaning overpowered) other pokémon.

Ummm I hate to inturupt but I think you are both derps because (a bit off topic) eevee an the eeveelutions are the best and technically they are legendary. In two meanings of the word....... Both in name and in evelution status. I mean if you can name another pokemon that can turn into 6 other evelutions,(not counting EEVEE itself.) then by al means tell me and I will retract my statement and be on my way. Other wise (even though I sound like a douche) this comment will be here and I have no regrets of it... You might as well tell me via YouTube (don't wanna use anything else because family is on my FB and that.and I also don't wanna give my real name or anything away and that.) which is EEVEEwolf1.(self-plug, wow)Anyway yeah sorry to interrupt and thank you for hearing (more like reading) my opinion on the matter

Just because Eevee is unique does not make it a legendary.

eevee is not 'legendary' to be legendary in the game requires there to be only 'one' available of the type...eevee are rare yes, but not legendary so at best id say they are 'epic' ....though im still waiting on a steel and dragon type eevee...ghost poison and flying type [and maybe bug type] would be neat too.

oh forgot to mention you also miscounted, Eevee becomes 'seven' other evolutions, flareon, jolteon, vaporeon, glaceion, leafeon, espeon, and umbreon

Actually, Arcanine is listed in the pokedex as a "Legendary Pokemon", despite being relatively easy to come by. It is not one of the creators of a region or anything, but it listed as Legendary for some reason, just not considered legendary in the same way.

I doubt this will be seen but Arcanine was suppose to be Gen 1s 3rd legendary but, last minute, was made a normal pokemon but kept the "Legendary" dex entry.
