If it looks exactly the same, isn't it better that the original takes up less space?

They look the same to me, too.

However, I'd go with Quality over Compression, regardless. (If it's original quality, even better).

I'd say this version was from the manga_big page while the previous was from the manga page, slightly compressed by pixiv.

Thanks for rooting for original uploader here. But I guess I'll have to take the burn for several images that that fellow decided to reupload. I'm just ticked off that my upload limit will drop a bit with an honest mistake. They really do appear identical huh? You'd only know about the differences in quality if you were told about it.
