To be honest, I expected MLP fans would do this with real horses years ago. Applejack, Rarity and Celestia would be obviously the easiest to do, but food pigments (which would be safe for the horses) come in all colors and aren't terribly expensive, so full-body paint job would be doable, too. Curiously, I've seen no such photos yet...

Rule of thumb: if there's one, there's more. And I've seen others, but that's one of the better I've come across.
