In short, it's legally required. Pixiv being a Japanese-hosted site obligates their users to follow laws which prohibit uncensored pornographic content. This is regardless of any rating system in place.

Japanese artists are free to de-censor their content for other sites, but many don't for reasons I don't know though I think the reason may be related again to legality concerns.

Reason why they don't uncensor most of the time is cause of their japanese citizenship (If I wrote that correctly), if their art is found that they have disregarded that rule they will be required to pay for it. However if they only live in Japan, lets say a Chinese person, lives there but doesn't have the citizenship, then they can uncensor the art and post it anywhere outside of Japan. It has to do with respect if memory serves me correctly.

    those are bad laws -.-

The laws in question originated from ancient documentation if I recall correctly. Similar to the U.S. Constitution, their age represents an older culture and conflict with modern interests and technology (among other things).

The U.S. forced the censorship law on the Japanese at the end of ww2.

  • ....So how does one get the full version...? ~10.00USD looks fine to me for what I see being offered at the source, but I'm not entirely familiar with international payments...especially of the adult kind.

This is a DEMO. I think the final version can be posted coming soon... and the money is not expected because someone in the internet can upload an illegal free version and no one cares...

Not quite. Japanese porn censorship comes from the late 1800s, from the Meiji Era's love of (then-Victorian) western culture.

At the end of WWII, the US occupation removed many Japanese laws that conflicted with western notions of free speech. They decided to leave porn laws alone, though, because it lined up with the US's own views at the time.

According to the links at source, you can at least make payment now, and apparently receive either access to the current WIP and updated versions, or a download client similar to what Jasonafex is using for Amorous and BBS....but only if you can pay in Yen it seems....

Take that with a grain of salt though, because I clearly can't read Japanese and am going on best guess. Also my name is No One, thank you.

  • I want to know what the fuck this is. I've gotten no good answer and everytime I search CDD I get torrent files that only leads to ads when you hit download. Premium Download or other bullshit. Is this all this is? Is this a pretend ad for nothing? A Hentai Movie?

What the hell is Club Dance Dragon??

Not going to support piracy, but you may have hard time finding japanese artists anthro dragon videos from mainstream torrent sites and ripping groups. And those ads with "download" in them should simply die out.

It's collection of several video done by artist. It's buyable and the link to store is third one in the source. ¥1200 which translates to about $10.

  • Guys, when somebody produces something rare that you really enjoy, please support them by buying their product to encourage them to make more of it instead of pirating it, especially when they make it easy to acquire indefinitely. Both Booth and DMM accept non Japanese credit cards and it's only about $10. Plus, it has none of that annoying and intrusive DRM that some products from these types of websites have.

By the way, from a passage translated via Google, I recall there being plans to create additional scenes to be freely distributed to people who bought the original videos. I enjoyed what I got, but I was hyped about that possibility. Any word on that?

It's too bad the full version isn't that good. Just loud music and a grand total of six scenes that use sub-par tweening. It's not like I think the that the artist is bad at traditional media; I just think they could have done more "animation". Spoiler Alert: There's no climax scene in the full version.

Please say that the full version is uncensored...
Oh btw. does somebody has the music source?

No, the full version is not uncensored. As for the music, I don't know. Sorry.

Trust me, I would if the site would take my money. Far as I can tell Booth does not take US cards, either that or I need to know enough Japanese to pick a certain payment option or something.

Dunno what's happening on your end. I'm also from the US and it took my card just fine.

It could be the type of card you're using. I hear some sites reject Visa cards. It could also just be your bank restricting foreign purchases if they appear out of the normal. Mine actually froze my card the first time I bought something directly from a Japanese business.

I've got Capital One, Mastercard....I guess I'll speak to them about it sometime, though it's gonna be quite awkward due to it being a small, ah, conservative country town.

I hate these kind of areas where everyone knows everyone, essentially making it really hard to do anything without getting the looks or rumours starting to spread.

I don't know about you, but at least my bank has pretty good customers service number, so it's easy to call or leave callback request and get your things straight over phone with someone not from where you are from. Just keep the info minimal unless they specifically ask you something (I have problems with online payments to japanese site, etc.) and if they can't do shit, then change bank. One local bank also had problems with online payments and they still haven't done anything to it because I still need to help my friends who are using that bank.
