By long, they mean just a few inches longer. This is a weasel or spotted pine martin something.

Lemme just lay down some deer facts. Because I hunt, I know a lot about deer. So, first off, no deer has a tail this long. They are only usually 6-9 inches long (lol 6-9) and the mule deer having the longest. All deer species have this coat when they are young, so I can't guess. Its a fucking hot picture though.
