I actually accept our snake lady overlords.

Let's face it, it's probably how they took over in the first place.

whaa? (I'm not that well versed in x-com lore)

The Elders, overlords of ADVENT, had engineered Thin Men, which were infiltration units trying to destabilize governments. After ADVENT took over, there was no need for an infiltration unit, and thus, the Elders reversed the engineering they had done on the Thin Men, causing the appearance of the Vipers.

  • There is any real biological difference betwen Nagas and Lamias to be tagged as different species?

    Lamia has a humanoid upper-half, naga has a snake-like upper-half.

Thin men to thicc ladies. Thicc is the opposite of thin, ladies are the opposite of men, and snakes are the opposite of humans. Checks out.

  • I'm still disappointed that you couldn't recruit rogue Vipers in the DLC. Pre-release it sounded like the perfect "my enemy's enemy is my friend"-setup.

I'm still struggling to cope with how these snek girls used to be thin men

i got this from the wiki: It is initially assumed that Thin Men had fallen out of use as the aliens did not need infiltration units after Earth's surrender, however this was debunked with the introduction of the Faceless.

  • Now that there are essentially Viper brothels in XCOM2 are we ever going to get to see the inside of one?
Maybe if XCOM went to world roaming mode?
I mean... we did get to see a guy getting busy with a goat lady in the Witcher 3.
