  • When I watched that scene it caused me to scream out in pain. I was a scout once, and I was just absolutely frozen out. I had four years there, all of which were some of the worst I have ever faced. I was abandoned alone while out hiking in the middle of the wilderness, and my fellow scouts failed me multiple times. The fact that I received death threats and was bullied through all four years did not make things the slightest bit easier to me.

Easy to say, I cried like a waterfall when I watched Nick tell his back story...

  • Funny that he was to be the main character of the movie the director didn't feel right so they switch the main focus to judy

Not gonna complain about it though :). Judging by the plot in the movie, it was most appropriate to change the main character. Not gonna spoil anything, but I can say that Judy being the main character plays a key role in the events of the movie.

The creators felt that making Nick the main focus would have started the audience off with a cynical knowitall attitude to the world, and by shifting focus to Judy it gave the audience a chance to discover the world instead.

Dude! I've seen you post about this on EVERY. SINGLE. PICTURE. Of nick as a kid. I get that they may have been a traumatic experience for you but now it just seems as though you're fishing for attention.

The fact that Im commenting on it all over does not mean Im fishing for attention. If I were to do so, one comment would not be enough. All I do is mention it, and that's it. But I do agree on the thing with all over, and there is a reason I have decided to stop it a while ago. Now all I do is replying to comments and that's it.

Hey I was in scouts, grew up in a small redneck town, everyone suspected I was gay
(actually pansexual with a preference for males)
I understand what its like to be excluded and hated by everyone just because your a little different.
