because it's an art archive site, and some people, like me, may be interested in this kind of "behind the scenes". getting to those sketches after next page gets uploaded is a pain (or even impossible, if you don't figure out the naming convention + there was one page with a different link). also, it gives people a place to comment on the webcomic's story, without leading views away from the twokinds page, and therefore without decreasing Tom's ad revenue and such.

You can access the sketch pages on the 2kinds website and we're not supposed to upload webcomics. Sketches of comics are the same thing. How about you just read the comic and save e621 for the fanart?
